i'm with you Tino, there are many factors to consider in this, the conspiresies always create some amusement for me, even here in the UK i was chatting with some old boy who clearly got brain washed somewhere in time, what you see hear and read HAS to be true, there is no joined up thinking and being able to make 5 from 2+2 - calculate your own judgment, stop following the lemmings people, there were a number of missed opportunities here, and i really think Trump an ex president or not, has been deemed a pain in the ass customer who has drawn the short straw and been given a bad deal, the staff, police and FBI are quite possibly all rejects or simply understaffed because this is a bad gig and no one probably wants to be there, don't get me wrong, i think Trump has something that many don't offer, he may be a bit gobby, but he does what he says, he's not a polotician so thats good right one of the things that stands out for me is how many factors stand out as being pure fluke, the fact this young person managed to outfox security and get to where he did, i mean i could award points, one getting to that position past security and secondly even managing to get some shots off without being neutralized and also to even hit his target - obvious extremly upsetting for the loss of the fire fighter and others being injured in the process the conspiracy of this being 'set up' is rather amusing too, ok so when it comes to this kind of terrorism everyone is expendable, collateral targets will be lost, sadly, but the thing is, even if this was set up, example, i'll pay you ex million to go kill xyz, this is how you do it, but don't worry if you miss, because others will also die doesn't matter, fingers will obviously get pointed at Biddy Biden (biddy is a word we use for old people, ie 'old biddies') - but also i hear its a paid stunt, well if it was, what ever the out come, the youngster being neutralized, it certainly made Trump look better than he was - so even if you got someone to do this the question is, how much money and the chances of the youngsters survival could not be good - those words ring out, 'don't worry, it will be fine' clearly not thought through the thing is, to get this 'set up' how did he become recruited, if we call it that, how did xyz persons know of him, and his weapon, and his capabilities (which apparently were poor) - did someone find his picture, the videos of him and decide, he's perfect, looks like a looser, he's expendable, no one will miss him, i mean what are the chances - if i walked into the street and asked a thousand people, here's a loaded gun and a bag full of money, go shoot xyz, i'd say i'd get told to go do one since this lad clearly was not very well in the head, had few friends, and was bullied a lot, i'd hazard a guess he was a lone wolf and very likely had no plan to get away - as for the advance party scoping out the area, back to what i said on a bad gig that no one wanted to do, i think the location was wrong, the people used were wrong, and i reckon authorities had a few scape goats lined up - your fired!

Why don’t they try to capture assassins alive, to pump them for information? They could use tranquilliser dart guns on drones, or shoot his hands, arms or legs. They could have armoured drones with riot shields that fly into the shooting path, in between an assassin and their target.

Why don’t they search everyone who enters rallies and make them go through metal detectors? Why don’t the close bodyguards have riot shields and body armour? Bullets can go straight through people.

well done Tino and Roger for the update, all very important stuff, and i think you both deserve some credit for the extra exposure these places get, i am sure someone will step forward and assist in getting or keeping this place rightly on the map of tourist attractions, i will say in this day and age, i find these places seem to be the only things open and avialable to the public for the traditional family outing, there is nearly always something for everyone here i recently went to a Fort Nelson near Portsmouth in the UK and was pleasantly surprised at the mix of male to female which is great to see, i used to see this a lot at a museum where i worked, it was very rare to see a lady sat in the car reading a book, and i laugh as a say that, one lady sat in the sunshine got too hot, so while i worked on the mighty F4 Phantom, i asked if she fancied sitting in a chair in the shade under the wing, she excepted, then i let her sit in the cockpit, think i made her day changing her view on dull boring military museums, her husband came back out and had a jealous look on his face
